Introduction

We: Jan, Jolanda and Tanja manage an allround recreational family business on a central spot in the touristic Giethoorn.
Our parents started in 1985 in Giethoorn with De Babbelaar. In 1992 't Zwaantje was bought and in 2006 Gieters Huus.
Of course we all live in the beautiful village Giethoorn.

We started in 1985 with 4 boats, nowadays the fleet exists of over 40 electrified boats, 5 canaltouring boats. We bare always in mind the accessibility for everyone and taking care of the environment. Since 1992 all rental boats are electrified, also the big tourboats are driven with an electrical motor and have built in lift's. The roof of the shed and the restaurant are covered with solar panels.

We are always looking for new solutions, the newest boats for selfdriving for wheelchairbound persons are at own design. If you are interested in a boat like this, you could contact us.
